L'Auberge is recognized as the only 100% fair trade hotel in Canada . Why?
Because we are the only hotel to offer a set of bath towels made of cotton from fair trade and biological sources. We also offer a wide array of fair trade products at breakfast time and have decorated most of our premises with fair trade handicrafts. Our customers have the opportunity to buy fair trade at our Boutique ÉquiMonde.

At l'Auberge l'Autre Jardin, you will enjoy being responsible consumers and will experience a concept in tourism unique in Quebec City!
L'Autre Jardin, a thoroughly urban and modern inn, is an offshoot of Carrefour Tiers-Monde, an organization of international cooperation that aims to further sustainable development and fair trade on our planet.
L'Auberge l'Autre Jardin invites you to discover the heart of Quebec City with its original boutiques, venues and restaurants; an area bustling with artists, students and high tech entrepreneurs, just a few minutes away from the Old City.
The summer of 2011 is going to be a busy one! First on the roster, Festival du Grand Rire de Québec, from June 8 to July 3. This not-to-be-missed laugh-o-rama, which has been going for several years, will take over the capital and fill it with a joyful and festive atmosphere. Let’s not forget the Québec Summer Festival which will be held again in Old Québec and the St.Roch neighborhood from July 7 to 17. Artists such as Elton John, Thomas Fersen or Metallica will take the stage to offer you quite a show, spread over several days. From July 23 to August 3, at the Montmorency Falls Park, the 17th edition of the Grands Feux de Loto-Québec will take place, attended by the best pyrotechnists in the world. Spain has the honor to start off this absolutely astounding event.
Get carried off to the dream world of Cirque du Soleil, with Les chemins invisibles from June 24 to September 3 on l’Îlot Fleurie, just a few steps away from l’Auberge. This very colorful event is sure to be full of surprises and leave us starry-eyed again this year. The grain silos in the Old Port of Québec will simultaneously host, from June 21 to September 5, Robert Lepage’s performance show, Le Moulin à images, bringing you back in time through centuries of history of the city of Québec.
Although its mission sets it apart from other accommodations, we at l'Auberge l'Autre Jardin do care for your comfort, and we aim to offer you an experience worthy of the great hotels; the same goes for our boutique-hotel, where customer service and excellence never falter.
We wish you a pleasant visit and hope to see you soon at l’Auberge!
